Description

Manage the development and implementation of a global information governance program to ensure compliance with international regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of information governance programs to meet global standards and regulatory agency requirements.
• Develop and maintain information governance controls, policies, and records inventories.
• Act as a liaison between legal, privacy, security, engineering, and HR teams to align governance objectives.
• Draft technical and functional requirements for governance technologies and work with engineering to ensure alignment.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators for the governance program.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Information Governance, Records & Information Management (RIM), or Program Management.
• Expertise in GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.
• Experience with policy retention development, file retention scheduling, and file plan development.
• Proficiency in content management and content inventorying.
• Proven experience managing the retention and disposition of structured and unstructured data.
• Ability to transition between detailed technical discussions and business-oriented executive communication.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry work experience.
