Description

You will manage network security infrastructure, optimize connectivity, and drive process improvements through gap analysis and compliance support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing network security services to identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Review, approve, and execute configuration changes on firewalls, web application firewalls, and proxies.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks to document current processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve network connectivity issues and meet business requirements.
• Assist with internal audit requests, controls testing, and ongoing compliance activities.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in network security or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and the OSI model.
• Experience managing network firewalls, proxies, and web application firewalls.
• Proficiency in basic packet analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Prisma Access, Global Protect VPN, or Zscaler ZIA.
• Scripting experience using Python or PowerShell.
• Network+, Security+, or CCNA certifications.
