Description

You will manage complex IT infrastructure projects involving server, storage, and network implementation within an O&M environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and migrate servers, storage, and network infrastructure following established best practices.
  • Provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 technical support and in-person help desk assistance during migrations.
  • Document and maintain IT policies, procedures, and technical engineering diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and manage high-availability, redundant architectures.
  • Analyze, validate, and manage technical requirements through direct customer interaction.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting and migrating Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange (2010/2013).
  • Advanced networking knowledge including VLANs, Routing, NAT, VPN, Cisco, and Celestix firewalls.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and SSO or 2-Factor Authentication.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server, Internet Information Server (IIS), and System Center.
  • Hands-on experience with Dell SAN, Equalogic, and Power Vault versions.
  • Strong technical documentation and diagramming skills using Visio.
  • Ability to write administrative scripts in PowerShell, Perl, or VBScript.
  • Knowledge of IT audit, control, governance, asset management, and change control.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Computer Science related field.

Preferred Skills

  • VMware ESXi 5-6 or Hyper-V experience.
  • Security+ or Microsoft MCSA/MCSE certifications.
  • Experience working within an ITIL Service Management organization.
  • Six Sigma methodology.
