Description

Manage security requests, technical issue resolution, and compliance audits for physical access, firewalls, and endpoint protection.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests regarding firewall issues, content filters, spam filters, and virus protection.
• Audit firewall rules and analyze logs to identify security risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage vulnerability analysis and collaborate with teams to correct identified deficiencies.
• Assist the IT Security Manager with physical site and data system audits, including SOX and HITRUST compliance.
• Review and update security policies and procedures while documenting solutions for the knowledge base.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience with at least 1 year specifically in IT security.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and Microsoft Defender.
• Working knowledge of SOX and HITRUST compliance frameworks.
• Understanding of security processes, network security, authentication, and security protocols.
• Knowledge of cryptography and application security.
• Advanced computer troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours coverage.

Preferred Skills

• College degree in Computer Science or a related field.
