Description

You monitor systems and networks for security issues, install security software, and perform security testing for company systems. You own the day-to-day security operations, including risk assessments, incident logging, and compliance reviews.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate information security risks and evaluate projects for proper security requirements.
• Monitor audit systems for violations, vulnerabilities, and abnormalities, and respond to contain security incidents.
• Assist with internal and external IT audits, defining effective control recommendations and reviewing requests for policy adherence.
• Maintain integrity of security controls, develop security reports, and report incidents to compliance staff and leadership.
• Develop and maintain the security control framework, including policies, standards, and guidelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security-related fields or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of controls including access control, auditing, authentication, encryption, and application security.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networks.
• Experience with vulnerability scanners, vulnerability management systems, patch management, and host-based security systems.
• Demonstrated ability to create scripts to automate processes in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis and analyze large data sets to identify anomalies.
• Familiarity with common infrastructure systems used as enforcement points.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, SaaS), with Oracle OCI being most desirable.
• Project management skills and ability to report on vulnerability and threat intelligence data at scale.
• CISSP or CISM certification.
