Description

You analyze information security data, identify complex issues, and develop recommendations to resolve security problems. You assess current capabilities, define customer needs, and recommend business process improvements within information security areas.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis of business issues using established information security methodologies and tools.
• Develop, design, and update business processes to ensure alignment with IS policy and risk compliance regulations.
• Provide guidance on identifying, evaluating, and developing effective processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IS policy, risk, or compliance issues.
• Present analysis outcomes, ad-hoc reports, and process mappings to senior management.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience in information security.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience facilitating assurance engagements.
• Proficiency with FISMA/NIST frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to produce clear oral and written communications tailored to the audience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience determining and suggesting best practices for monitoring and current practices.
• Proven ability to consult with clients, colleagues, and management on security solutions.
