Description

Manage Security Operation Center programs and coordinate front-line responses to security crises.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, tune, and automate SOC programs.
• Monitor threats via SIEM consoles and analyze host, network, firewall, and intrusion prevention logs.
• Operate and tune EDR/XDR platforms to detect and mitigate incidents.
• Identify indicators of compromise using established detection methods.
• Coordinate responses to security crises as a front-line lead.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Security Operation Centers or similar roles.
• 2+ years managing SOC operations.
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with systems administration and diverse operating systems.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and core IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK, and NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks.
• Knowledge of system forensic investigation techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Formal IT Security/Network Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, ISC2 CC, ISSAP, CCSP, GCIA, GNFA, or GMON).
