Description

You will own database security, monitoring, and threat mitigation across diverse environments. You implement security controls and automate tasks to protect endpoints and cloud client systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage database security using IBM Guardium or similar activity monitoring tools.
• Automate security tasks and database monitoring through Shell or Python scripting.
• Implement and oversee Data Loss Prevention, File Integrity Monitoring, and Data Masking controls.
• Apply MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and CIS CSC frameworks to secure DB2, Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL, and MongoDB.
• Monitor and secure SaaS security solutions and various database flavors.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in information security.
• Hands-on experience with database security, automation, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in scripting, specifically Shell or Python.
• Experience with IBM Guardium Database Activity Monitoring or similar tools.
• Direct experience securing DB2, Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL, and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and CIS CSC frameworks.
• Understanding of Endpoint Protection, Security Configuration Management, and Malware Isolation.
• Experience with Unix and Windows environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
