Description

You will implement data labeling and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions within Office 365 environments. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Microsoft Purview for data classification and DLP across email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Collaborate with data owners to document business and technical metadata for critical information domains.
• Develop and execute unit tests on Purview policies to ensure accurate label capture and accessibility.
• Conduct training sessions for technical users on Purview functionality and best practices.
• Write and update formal data protection requirements and translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview in large-scale enterprise environments.
• 6+ years of experience in the IT industry with a background in data security or cybersecurity governance.
• Proven experience deploying and testing data classification and DLP solutions.
• Technical expertise in Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience working in structured development environments with formal change management and defect tracking.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of IRS Publication 1075 requirements.
• Experience with Jira bug tracking and testing tools.
