Information Security Architect

You will lead the implementation of security policies and procedures to shape organizational security posture and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review and implement information security policies developed for South Carolina State Agencies.
• Translate high-level policies into actionable procedures and documentation for technical and non-technical teams.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies to manage organizational risk.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations while supporting internal and external audits.
• Develop security awareness programs and provide guidance on policy interpretation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in information security, policy development, or compliance.
• 3+ years of experience working with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• Experience in Compliance & Risk Management.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for documentation and training.
• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP certification.
• CISM certification.
