Description

You will design and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement security measures to protect networks, systems, and confidential data.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and research new technologies for network protection.
• Identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and provide guidance on avoidance strategies.
• Review violations of cybersecurity processes and procedures.
• Communicate with users regarding data access needs, security violations, and exceptions.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of industry experience in security architecture design, software design, networking, or cloud infrastructure.
• CISSP certification.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect certification.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, proxies, and antivirus.
• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS).
• Proficiency in application security, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of offensive and defensive security techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Experience securing public cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
