Description

You will serve as the security subject matter expert, ensuring technology projects adhere to established architecture principles, policies, and standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review project designs and proposals to identify applicable security requirements.
• Identify security risks and establish recommended controls and processes.
• Advise project teams on security decisions and the use of common tools and patterns.
• Guide technical teams through the implementation of security controls and resolve residual project risks.
• Produce security architecture documentation and risk artefacts for production go/no-go decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security architecture or related roles.
• Strong experience with Azure cloud and Office 365 platform capabilities.
• Experience with Intune and Azure Conditional Access policies.
• Experience working with VMware and Citrix virtual server and desktop environments.
• Familiarity with SABSA and TOGAF architecture frameworks.
• Knowledge of NIST 800, CIS, and ISO27001 security frameworks.
• Familiarity with SOX and GDPR regulations within financial services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Technical certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC.
• Microsoft certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, 365 Security Administrator, or MCSE.
