Information Security Engineer

You will manage and secure IT infrastructure and network operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage fundamental networking controls, including L3 and L7 firewalls.
• Administer and harden Linux, Windows, and OS X operating systems.
• Lead and guide the implementation of cryptographic standards and networking protocols.
• Apply security principles across all areas of IT infrastructure and cloud architecture.
• Monitor and respond to threats using IDS/IPS and vulnerability frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related IT experience with at least 3 years in information security operations.
• Practical experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security.
• Deep understanding of operating system internals and hardening for Linux and Windows.
• Knowledge of common vulnerability frameworks including CVSS and OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with cloud security and cloud architecture.
• Working knowledge of internet security and networking protocols.
• Proficiency with major security vendors and product capabilities.
• B.S. in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as PNSE, CEH, Security+, or CCNA/CCNP.
