Manage and secure IT infrastructure through hands-on security operations and architectural implementation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls across networks, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Secure operating systems by applying hardening techniques to Linux, Windows, and OS X.
• Guide the implementation of cryptographic standards and internet security protocols.
• Apply vulnerability frameworks such as CVSS and OWASP Top 10 to mitigate risks.
• Manage security within cloud architectures and evaluate major vendor product capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related experience in IT security.
• 3+ years of direct experience in information security operations.
• Practical knowledge of L3 and L7 firewall controls.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS administration.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols and internet security.
• Experience with cloud security and cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of operating system internals and hardening processes.
• Familiarity with common vulnerability frameworks including CVSS and OWASP Top 10.
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as PNSE, CEH, Security+, or CCNA/CCNP.
