Information Security Engineer

You will design and implement technical solutions to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Customize, validate, and administer enterprise-wide information security platforms, systems, and frameworks.
• Conduct security assessments of systems, tools, platforms, policies, and procedures.
• Develop implementation plans, security designs, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Validate vulnerabilities identified during testing and audits while filtering for false positives.
• Lead audits and reviews designs for security issues while providing guidance to junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience leading information security assessments, policy development, and framework implementation.
• Knowledge of Broadcom Identity Manager, Identity Suite, or Single Sign On.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, Veracode, or MS SQL Server.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Familiarity with VMware stack including vCenter and SRM.
• Security certification such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA, or GSEC.
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working on security projects for state or federal government agencies.
