Description

You will protect web applications and infrastructure by managing firewalls, analyzing threats, and executing incident response.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Web Application Firewalls to mitigate DDoS attacks and web vulnerabilities.
• Analyze log files and correlate data to identify and respond to security threats.
• Execute incident response processes within a security operations environment.
• Review web services, operating systems, and network devices for security weaknesses.
• Exploit web application vulnerabilities including SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, and API attacks to validate defenses.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Deep understanding of OWASP risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation mechanisms.
• Expertise in TCP/IP, web protocols, and networking concepts.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and programming.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, XML, and SOAP.
• Knowledge of PKI technology and web server management.
• Experience with system exploits such as Buffer Overflows and PTH attacks.
• Familiarity with Kali Linux and web application testing tools.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, SANS GPEN, GXPN, SANS GIAC, or AWS Security certifications.
• OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) certification.
