Description

You will secure complex applications and microservices through hands-on security testing and backend development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify exploits across networks, systems, and applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites within continuous integration pipelines to provide rapid security feedback.
• Build and deliver test data tools using Java and Spring Boot.
• Automate security testing processes and scan applications to identify IT security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in an agile environment to define testing requirements and track security metrics.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in information security and software development.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend systems.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and testing microservices within AWS or OpenShift Container Platform.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and code reviews.
• Experience with backend testing using JUnit.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to compile and track vulnerabilities to record IT security metrics.
