Description

You provide third-level technical support for Trimble products, including Taskforce, GeoManager, and Performance Manager.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, resolve, and perform root cause analysis on fault reports escalated from Customer Support.
• Identify software defects and collaborate with Engineering to implement workarounds.
• Manage software implementations, including bug fixes, new releases, service packs, and patches.
• Create scripts and tools to extract information, generate reports, and produce management statistics.
• Update CRM systems with investigation details and escalate issues to Technical Leads, IT Operations, or Software Engineering.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience providing technical support for software applications serving at least 1,500 end-users.
• 8+ years of practical Linux Operating Systems experience at a System Administrator level.
• 8+ years of practical experience with MS Windows Server applications and tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle concepts, utilities, and GoldenGate support.
• Proficiency in SQL queries and shell scripting.
• Experience with Java.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application and network/internet connectivity issues.
• Experience liaising with external customers and suppliers.
