Description

You will serve as a subject matter expert ensuring the classification, distribution, and protection of Security Sensitive Information (SSI) and Worksite Security Plan requirements across all project types.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the Office of Security and internal departments, including Procurement, Project Management, IT, and Law, as well as external parties.
• Oversee and monitor contractors from pre-bid through project completion to ensure strict adherence to prescribed security protocols and need-to-know confidentiality levels.
• Manage the classification and distribution of SSI by interfacing with the Vendor Document Control Officer and Agency Document Control Officer.
• Monitor computer-based data files to ensure appropriate firewalls and security measures are in place.
• Review Security Plans and Security Design Plans to provide technical guidance and recommendations.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in security or law enforcement related work.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior-level position developing, implementing, or enforcing security procedures for a major corporation or large-scale government/law enforcement agency.
• Expertise in Security Plans and Security Design Plans.
• Demonstrated experience in Security Design Review regarding Physical Access Control (PAC), including electronic and physical hardening.
• Technical familiarity with Video Management Systems (VMS), Access Control Systems (ACS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
• Proven ability to conduct threat and vulnerability assessments.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Forensic Engineering or related fields such as securities fraud.
• Formal training in anti-terrorism or threat and vulnerability assessments.
