Description

You will ensure operational maintenance of firewalls and align rulesets to support divestiture projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement ruleset changes and configurations within the firewall environment for divestiture efforts.
• Build and manage new virtual firewalls in cloud service provider platforms.
• Serve as subject matter expert for security technologies assigned to the project.
• Interface between Service Engineering and Operations to capacity plan and monitor the firewall environment.
• Integrate security logs and information into monitoring and detection platforms with Security Operations and CIRT.
• Drive initiatives to improve firewall security design, efficiency, and performance.
• Provide 4th level support for project escalations and determine root causes for chronic problems.

Required Skills

• Minimum of five years’ experience in designing, implementing, and operating networks, including firewalling.
• Experience with Cloud Networking, specifically Azure, AWS, and OCI.
• Proficiency with Cisco VPN routers and connectivity to third-party devices.
• Experience with an Enterprise Firewall Platform; Palo Alto preferred, Fortigate a plus.
• Experience integrating security logs with SIEM tools; Splunk experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Service Now and its change management system is preferred.
• Strong process discipline and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a global environment.
