Description

You will maintain the security posture of information systems and networks, preventing unauthorized access and data breaches.

Responsibilities

• Detect, respond to, and eradicate agency-wide security incidents while coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Triage incidents, review SOC alerts, and document resolved security efforts.
• Monitor and analyze emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits.
• Design cybersecurity architecture and execute security measures to protect network infrastructure.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist with third-party vulnerability and risk assessments.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with security technologies including full packet capture, SIEM, NGFW, and IDPS.
• 8+ years of experience in security domains such as endpoint security, identity management, cloud security, and vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience investigating security events across heterogeneous environments using Microsoft Defender and Crowdstrike.
• Demonstrated experience integrating, deploying, and operating SIEM and SOAR systems.
• Experience meeting regulatory requirements for IRS, SSA, and CMS.
• Proficiency in incident response, threat intelligence, and mobile device management.
• Security+ certification.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, CeH, CISC, or CISM certifications.
