Description

Design and develop Android-based infotainment solutions for automotive consumer devices.

You will own the entire software lifecycle for assigned domains, including requirements, system design, development, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and perform maintenance and bug fixes for existing infotainment software.
• Participate in architecture, feature requirements, design, code, and test case reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and make design trade-offs.
• Provide complete documentation following established software development processes within a Scrum/Agile environment.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, and C.
• Experience with Android frameworks including services, JNI, native services, and HAL.
• Experience with Android local unit tests and instrumented tests.
• Strong background in object-oriented software design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with SCM and DevOps tools including Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and JIRA.
• Knowledge of communication network protocols such as CAN, UART, and SPI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Prior work with vehicle infotainment, telematics, navigation systems, or portable consumer electronics.
