Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize resilient cloud native platforms in AWS environments for Medicare and Medicaid claims processing systems.
- Administer Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redshift databases ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement backup and restore strategies with Multi-AZ and cross-Region replication for critical database workloads.
- Perform performance tuning including query optimization, indexing, and monitoring using CloudWatch and Performance Insights.
- Apply security best practices including KMS encryption, IAM policies, parameter groups, and network hardening.
- Automate database operations using Lambda, AWS CLI, Terraform, CloudFormation, and automated patching strategies.
- Execute database migrations using DMS, SCT, snapshots, and lift-and-shift strategies for various database systems.
- Handle troubleshooting, failover management, cost optimization, and incident response for database infrastructure operations.
Experience Required: Twelve to fifteen years of experience in designing and optimizing cloud native platforms with strong database technologies and migration experience
