Description

You will design, implement, and maintain big data infrastructures and software applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement big data infrastructures, including access methods, device allocations, and security protocols.
• Install, upgrade, and test complex big data deployments.
• Develop and implement system recovery plans and procedures.
• Manage database replication, scaling, and highly available systems, including monitoring and performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or big data environments.
• Strong administrative knowledge of Apache Hadoop.
• Proficiency with Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with HBase and DBA tasks.
• Experience with database replication and scaling.
• Scripting and automation experience using Chef or Puppet.
• Ability to design logical and physical data models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloudera distribution.
• Experience with BI tool integration with Hadoop.
