Description

Administer and support Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and storage systems to ensure infrastructure stability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows and Linux servers, including build, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware and/or Hyper-V), including capacity planning and lifecycle management.
• Administer and maintain SAN/storage systems, monitoring performance and optimizing capacity.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting tools for proactive incident response.
• Execute and validate backup and restore operations, including disaster recovery testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure administration experience in production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, storage, and basic networking.
• Experience with Windows Server (AD fundamentals, DNS/DHCP, patching, hardening).
• Experience working with Linux systems (user management, services, patching).
• Hands-on experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery practices.
• Working knowledge of security best practices (least privilege, secure configs, vulnerability remediation).

Preferred Skills

• VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V experience.
• Intune experience for endpoint/server management.
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
