Description

You will provide high-level L3 support and Site Reliability Engineering functions for middleware products and in-house applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support applications using Apache ZooKeeper, API Proxy, Ansible Automation Platform, and Terraform.
• Act as the highest level of escalation for production incidents and outages.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex problems and automate operational processes.
• Handle day-to-day infrastructure management, including changes, incidents, and problem management.
• Provide on-call coverage and weekend availability for global production support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience.
• Advanced Linux and Unix support experience.
• Strong shell scripting and Python programming skills.
• Experience with Splunk or the Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki stack.
• Experience with Ansible (playbooks or Automation Platform) or Terraform (specifically Terraform Enterprise).
• Understanding of Veritas Cluster Service, Load Balancers, and VMware.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Knowledge of git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD toolchains.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JVM garbage collection, relational databases, and web/application servers.
