Description

You will design infrastructure solutions that meet specific customer needs and stringent security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design infrastructure solutions and integrate them with existing systems and technologies.
• Develop automation, architectural diagrams, standard operating procedures, and technical guides.
• Provide technical expertise during the testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.
• Prepare RFI and bid response material both independently and through collaboration.
• Mentor colleagues to help them gain or augment their technical skills.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and scripting for automation.
• Experience working within highly virtualized and cloud environments.
• Experience with operating systems, network services, operational monitoring, and backup and recovery.
• Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of one or more recognized security standards, frameworks, or benchmarks.
• Ability to work in an Agile team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Eligibility and willingness to undergo UK security vetting, ideally to DV level.
• Ability to work from the Basingstoke office and visit customer sites as required.
