You design and implement secure infrastructure solutions, integrating automation and architectural standards to meet specific customer and compliance requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design infrastructure solutions that integrate with existing systems and meet stringent security benchmarks.
• Develop automation scripts, architectural diagrams, standard operating procedures, and technical guides.
• Provide technical expertise during testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Prepare RFI and bid response materials independently or in collaboration with the team.
• Mentor colleagues to augment their technical skills and capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and scripting for automation.
• Experience working within highly virtualized and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of operating systems, network services, operational monitoring, and backup and recovery.
• Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
• Knowledge of one or more recognized security standards, frameworks, or benchmarks.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Eligibility and willingness to undergo UK security vetting, ideally to DV level.
• Ability to work from the Basingstoke office and visit customer sites as required.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant professional certifications in infrastructure or security.
