Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Architect with deep expertise in on-prem and cloud infrastructure, rather than a broad Enterprise Architect profile. The ideal candidate will design, modernize, and optimize infrastructure across data center and hybrid cloud environments, with a strong preference for Azure-based architectures.
This role focuses primarily on infrastructure and cloud engineering, with security knowledge considered a plus but not the primary focus.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect infrastructure solutions covering compute, network, storage, and backend subsystems
Lead hybrid cloud architecture initiatives integrating on-prem data centers with cloud platforms
Architect and optimize infrastructure primarily on Microsoft Azure, with flexibility to work on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Support and modernize data center hosting services, including:
Virtualized environments
Software-Defined Infrastructure (SDI / SDS / SDN)
Ensure infrastructure scalability, performance, reliability, and cost optimization
Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams in modern corporate IT environments
Provide architectural guidance for infrastructure optimization and tuning
Essential Skills
Strong background in Infrastructure Architecture
Compute, Network, Storage, and Backend Systems
Proven experience in Hybrid Cloud Architecture
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (highly preferred)
Multi-cloud awareness (Azure primary; AWS acceptable)
Experience in Data Center Hosting & Virtualization Technologies
Understanding of modern enterprise IT infrastructure environments
Infrastructure optimization, performance tuning, and operational excellence
Desirable Skills
Security awareness in infrastructure and cloud environments
Experience with software-defined networking and storage
Exposure to infrastructure automation and cloud operations
