Primary Skills (Must Have):

* 10+ years of experience with Azure / AWS architecture (VNet, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers)

* 10+ years of experience with Firewalls, WAF, Private Endpoints, and Zero Trust architectures

* 10+ years of experience with security baselines and hardening

* 10+ years of experience with VNet peering, VPN, ExpressRoute, and Direct Connect

* 10+ years of experience with DNS, routing, and private endpoints

* Imperative IaC tool / Terraform experience in designing modules for Terraform deployment

* Strong understanding of customer-managed infra security vs architect-guided design

* Expertise in infrastructure sizing and capacity planning

* Deep knowledge of high availability & disaster recovery (DR design, failover)

* Experience with segmentation (hub-spoke architecture)

* Expertise in latency and performance optimization

* Experience with IaC and CI/CD implementation

Role Summary:

## Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

* Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure architectures on Azure, including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, and Load Balancers.

* Lead infrastructure sizing and capacity planning initiatives to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.

* Architect high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including DR design, failover strategies, and business continuity planning.

* Design and develop reusable Terraform modules for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) deployments, ensuring consistency across environments.

* Create end-to-end security architecture frameworks incorporating Zero Trust principles, WAF, Private Endpoints, and security baselines.

* Design and implement network connectivity solutions including VNet peering, VPN, ExpressRoute, and Direct Connect.

* Develop hub-spoke network architectures with proper segmentation, DNS configuration, and routing strategies.

* Conduct security hardening and establish security baselines for cloud infrastructure components.

* Optimize network latency and performance across distributed cloud environments.

* Collaborate with application teams, security teams, and stakeholders to align infrastructure designs with business requirements.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to infrastructure teams on best practices and emerging cloud technologies.

* Document architecture decisions, design patterns, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.

* Complete assessment of existing infrastructure and document current architecture landscape across Azure/AWS environments.

* Design and implement at least two reusable Terraform modules for standardized infrastructure deployments.

* Deliver a comprehensive high availability and disaster recovery strategy with documented failover procedures.

* Build strong working relationships with application teams and security stakeholders
