Description

You will design, plan, and install enterprise networking and software solutions to support life safety systems and transportation operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Research and assess existing network and software solutions to recommend improvements based on cybersecurity best practices.
• Configure network hardware and software to meet business needs and deploy new communications infrastructure.
• Monitor network resources for faults, traffic anomalies, and connection issues.
• Respond to Tier 1 and 2 network and software support requests, including break/fix tasks.
• Develop and maintain technical architecture documentation, project records, and change histories.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of hands-on networking experience.
• Experience with systems and network administration including DHCP, DNS, routers, and firewalls.
• Proven ability to manage medium complexity work efforts independently.
• Experience in technical services, support, and network administration.
• Ability to design network extensions and campus connections.
• Support cybersecurity efforts including threat hunting, mitigation, and control improvements.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications in networking or cybersecurity.
