Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere environments including ESXi, vCenter, HA, and DRS
  • Administer and support Active Directory services including AD DS, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and FSMO roles
  • Manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions such as Cohesity, Veeam, or Commvault
  • Support enterprise storage platforms including SAN/NAS technologies like NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, Pure Storage, PowerScale, and Nimble
  • Perform storage provisioning, LUN management, replication, snapshots, and capacity planning
  • Ensure infrastructure high availability, performance tuning, and operational stability
  • Conduct backup validation, disaster recovery testing, and restore exercises
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across virtualization, storage, backup, and identity platforms
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, and data center transformation activities
  • Implement and maintain security, backup retention, governance, and compliance policies
  • Create and maintain SOPs, architecture diagrams, operational documentation, and RCA reports
  • Participate in ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams for issue resolution and operational support
  • Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and infrastructure health dashboards

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter Server administration
  • Expertise in VM provisioning, snapshots, templates, cloning, and lifecycle management
  • Experience with VMware vSAN and Site Recovery Manager (SRM) preferred
  • Deep knowledge of Active Directory architecture, GPO management, replication, and DR recovery
  • Experience integrating on-prem AD with Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Strong expertise in backup technologies including Cohesity and Veeam
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise storage administration and SAN/NAS technologies
  • Knowledge of cloud storage integration with Azure or AWS is a plus
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
  • Experience supporting 24x7 enterprise production environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • VMware / Microsoft / Storage certifications preferred
  • Experience with enterprise data center operations and infrastructure modernization initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills
