Description

You will design and maintain campus network extensions and communications infrastructure in a 100% on-site role in Virginia Beach.

Responsibilities

• Design network extensions and connections to the campus infrastructure.
• Configure and deploy new or replacement network hardware and communications equipment.
• Monitor network resources for faults, traffic anomalies, and connection issues.
• Manage technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, inventory, maintenance records, and change histories.
• Respond to Tier 1 and 2 network and software support requests and break/fix tasks.

Required Skills

• 10 years of General Information Technology experience.
• 5 years of Cisco Routing and Switching.
• 5 years of VLAN Management.
• 5 years of Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc).
• 5 years of VPN and Remote Access Technologies.
• 4 years of Authentication protocols (Radius, TACACS, etc).
• 2 years of Network Design and Subnetting.
• 2 years of Firewall Administration.
• 3 years of Integration Troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• 2 years of Network Security or Cybersecurity experience.
• 2 years of FMC/Firepower, DNS/DHCP, or Network Monitoring.
• 2 years of Solutions Design/build, Software Integrations, or Network Cable Management.
