Description

You will design and implement scalable, secure IT infrastructure for large-scale migration, modernization, and transformation projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and execution of data center migrations and consolidations to minimize downtime and risk.
• Design modern infrastructure solutions leveraging on-premises and cloud resources to optimize cost, performance, and scalability.
• Modernize legacy systems by implementing event-driven architectures, distributed caching, and container orchestration.
• Establish governance frameworks and policies to ensure infrastructure management meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with application teams to facilitate the transition to microservices and cloud-native architectures.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure design and architecture across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Extensive experience managing on-premises virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
• Strong background in designing infrastructure for high availability, monitoring, and observability.
• Ability to document complex infrastructure designs and procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions for application modernization.
