You will design, optimize, and secure IBM Power Systems and x86 architectures to support high-performance computing environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design resilient Linux and Unix architectures with redundancy and failover mechanisms.
• Optimize Linux installations for performance on IBM Power Systems and x86 hardware.
• Develop custom automation solutions and shell scripts to streamline infrastructure tasks.
• Integrate monitoring tools into DevOps workflows to enhance system visibility and issue detection.
• Conduct server audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement security hardening measures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or architecture.
• Expertise with IBM Power Systems architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and Unix operating systems.
• Experience with Ansible Playbooks for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in shell scripting for task automation.
• Strong understanding of Server Network configuration and redundancy.
• Experience integrating monitoring tools within DevOps workflows.
• Ability to implement security measures and conduct server audits.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
