Description

You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise networking and software solutions for life safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing network and software solutions to recommend improvements based on product specifications and cybersecurity best practices.
• Configure equipment and software to meet business needs, including training staff and documenting solutions for ongoing support.
• Design network extensions and connections while assisting with the deployment of new hardware and communications infrastructure.
• Monitor network resources for faults and traffic anomalies, resolving connection issues between users and resources.
• Respond to Tier 1 and 2 support requests, including break/fix tasks, and maintain architecture documentation, inventory, and change histories.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of general Information Technology experience.
• 5 years of Cisco Routing and Switching.
• 5 years of VLAN Management and Subnetting.
• 5 years of Firewall Administration.
• 4 years of Routing Protocols, including BGP and OSPF.
• 2 years of Network Design.
• 2 years of Authentication protocols such as RADIUS or TACACS.
• 2 years of VPN and Remote Access Technologies.
• 2 years of Integration Troubleshooting.
• 4-year degree in any discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications.
• 2 years of Network Security or Cybersecurity experience.
• 2 years of DNS/DHCP, Network Monitoring, or FMC/Firepower experience.
