Description

Own Linux infrastructure automation, configuration management, and server lifecycle operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux systems (RHEL or equivalent) and server hardware operations.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Golang, Perl, C++, or Ruby.
• Manage firmware updates and hardware lifecycle in VMware and/or AWS/VMC environments.
• Apply Agile practices and SDLC tooling including GitHub, Jira, and code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems engineering (RHEL preferred).
• Hands-on experience with configuration and automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Golang, Perl, C++, or Ruby.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and virtualization (VMware/VMC).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (GitHub, Jira).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with server firmware lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
