Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and management of core cloud database infrastructure on Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database architectures, allocating storage, compute, and memory resources.
• Establish high availability, failover, disaster recovery, and replication strategies.
• Fine-tune systems for performance and scalability by optimizing queries and indexing.
• Manage access controls, authentication, encryption, and data masking.
• Coordinate and execute database migrations to the Azure platform.

Required Skills

• 7 to 9 years of Database Administration experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• 5 to 7 years of experience working on large-scale database projects.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with cloud-based technologies (Azure SQL, Azure SQL MI, Azure SQL for PostgreSQL).
• 1 to 3 years of experience with NoSQL systems (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, Neo4j, Neptune).
• Advanced SQL Server Administration skills.
• 2 years of PostgreSQL experience and 1 year of NoSQL database experience.
• Familiarity with Client DevOps and PowerShell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of total working experience in infrastructure or database engineering.
• Any Graduate degree.
