Description

Lead infrastructure engineering for edge and cloud platforms, focusing on scalable, high-performance systems for IoT and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Kubernetes workload components and cloud-native application blueprints for low-resource environments.
• Build IoT edge services and hybrid cloud patterns that integrate seamlessly with public cloud infrastructure.
• Lead architecture discussions, define technical specifications, and drive platform projects from conception to completion.
• Coach and pair with engineers to enforce TDD practices, clean code standards, and cost optimization.
• Convert monolithic systems into micro-service APIs using GraphQL/REST and 12-factor methodologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of progressive application development and engineering experience.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP platform deployment and management.
• Proficiency in Java, Typescript, or Golang for building full-stack applications.
• Strong command of Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, Nutanix) for container orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM.
• Deep understanding of service-based architectures, including GraphQL, gRPC, and MQTT protocols.
• Proven ability to design distributed, high-volume services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with evolutionary architecture practices for cloud-native infrastructure.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of high-performance computing, file/block storage technologies, and network integration.
• Experience with research data collection, analysis, and presentation.
