Description

You will manage and support the IBMi (AS400/iSeries) infrastructure, hardware, and associated services.

Responsibilities

• Administer IBMi systems, including IBM MQ and WebSphere environments.
• Manage IBM Power Hardware (Power 9), SAN fabric, and IBM DS8K external storage.
• Coordinate infrastructure project delivery, engaging with multiple teams and managing risks.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards and provide visibility into deliverable health.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support system stability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or system administration.
• Deep expertise in IBMi (AS400/iSeries) System Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and external storage support.
• Experience supporting WebSphere and IBM MQ on the IBMi platform.
• Proficiency with IBM DS8K storage systems.
• Knowledge of software replication technologies, including MIXIM and Global Mirror.
• Strong problem determination and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate technical objectives and coordinate across organizations.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
