Description

You will architect and manage large-scale storage and fabric environments, ensuring high availability and performance for block and file storage systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Fiber Channel SAN technologies including VMAX, VNX, 3par, Cisco, and Brocade.
• Plan and execute large-scale NAS migrations and fabric refresh cutovers.
• Build new arrays and fabric switches from scratch adhering to established standards.
• Execute host-based and SRDF migrations, including the configuration of host-based ACLs.
• Monitor performance and capacity for both Block and File storage.

Required Skills

• Expertise with VMAX, VNX, 3par, Cisco, and Brocade SAN technologies.
• Hands-on experience managing Isilon and CDOT file storage.
• Advanced knowledge of SRDF and array-based replication.
• Experience supporting Broadcom Brocade G620, G720, 7840 (Gen 6 and Gen 7 director class).
• Proficiency in hardware architecture, performance testing, and monitoring.
• Experience in network engineering, planning, and provisioning.
• Basic UNIX management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of IP-based Block storage such as Solidfire, ScaleIO, or Powerflex.
• Software development experience in Python, Java, C, C++, Go, or Shell scripting.
