Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, VMware virtualization technologies, Linux and Windows Server administration, and infrastructure migration projects.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in implementing, configuring, managing, and migrating enterprise infrastructure environments. The role requires strong technical troubleshooting capabilities, production change management experience, and the ability to coordinate with enterprise stakeholders and technology vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support Red Hat OpenShift environments, including cluster management, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, virtual machines, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Perform Linux and Microsoft Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Plan and execute infrastructure and workload migration projects across virtualized and containerized environments.
• Participate in infrastructure implementation, upgrades, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Prepare, review, and execute Production Change Requests (CRs), ensuring proper documentation, approvals, implementation plans, and rollback procedures.
• Perform technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of infrastructure-related issues.
• Coordinate with internal infrastructure teams, enterprise stakeholders, and external technology vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, operational procedures, and migration plans.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Practical experience in Linux Server Administration.
• Practical experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
• Proven involvement in infrastructure and workload migration projects.
• Experience in production change management, including CR preparation and execution.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor coordination skills.

Candidate Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure engineering or administration.
• Demonstrated hands-on engineering and implementation experience.
• Experience working in enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Ability to independently handle technical implementation, migration, and production changes.
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

Important Screening Criteria

Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to monitoring, service desk support, or operational ticket handling, without hands-on engineering, implementation, and infrastructure migration experience, will not be considered suitable.

Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate end-to-end ownership of infrastructure implementation and migration activities
