Description

Lead the design, testing, and maintenance of complex middleware messaging infrastructure with a focus on IBM MQ and related technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug infrastructure solutions using Agile practices.
• Configure and troubleshoot MQ Queue Managers, Clusters, Queues, Channels, and Listeners.
• Manage SSL certificates, secrets, and key rotations for cloud security.
• Develop long-range plans to resolve recurring issues and reduce system recovery times.
• Collaborate with leadership and peers to align technical solutions with business requirements.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience.
• Hands-on administration of Middleware Messaging environments (IBM MQ, IBM ACE/IIB, Kafka, Solace) at scale.
• Production support experience on Linux and/or Mainframe platforms.
• Strong team or technical leadership experience.
• Experience with Ansible jobs for automation.
• Proficiency in Kafka Connect, including worker and connector configuration.
• Ability to troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and SSL certificate management issues.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with MQ monitoring tools like IR360.
