Description

You will own system improvements and infrastructure operations for scaled data and applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise to improve data and systems running at scale.
• Ensure end-to-end monitoring of applications and resolve operational nuances.
• Manage complex multi-application releases across distributed systems in AWS.
• Coordinate iterative releases while meeting strict deadlines.
• Maintain release documentation, runbooks, and process workflows to ensure compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering concepts.
• Experience in release management, deployment coordination, or DevOps roles in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in AWS, DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, CloudFormation, CI/CD, and Git.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and Systems Manager.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CDK.
• Understanding of security best practices and deployment strategies such as blue-green or canary.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GitLab CI, Snakee, and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, X-Ray, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Familiarity with release orchestration tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
