Description

You will manage and maintain backup systems and server environments across various client sites.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain EMC Networker servers, EMC AvaMAR, and EMC Data Domain.
• Manage backups for Oracle, SQL, and DB2 database servers, including NDMP and filesystem backups.
• Integrate Data Domains with AvaMAR and Networker.
• Deploy VMware proxies and perform VMware backups.
• Travel to and relocate to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA as required.

Required Skills

• Experience with VMware Administration.
• Proficiency with Oracle, SQL, and DB2 databases.
• Hands-on experience with EMC Networker, EMC AvaMAR, and EMC Data Domain.
• Knowledge of NDMP backups and filesystem backups.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years of progressive work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field with 6 months of relevant experience.
