Description

You will modify open-source code to function within a specific client ecosystem, focusing on hypervisor performance and scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Debug, profile, and optimize hypervisor performance for scalability and efficiency.
• Make direct modifications to open-source software to meet ecosystem requirements.
• Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with the community to improve supervisor performance and security.
• Review and contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews.
• Work with software, hardware, and security teams to ensure seamless integration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in open-source software development with a focus on virtualization.
• Coding experience at the kernel and firmware level.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
• Working knowledge of open-source hypervisors.
• Ability to write and understand software code alongside infrastructure knowledge.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working at a product company such as VMware or RedHat.
