Description

You will manage the network infrastructure backlog, executing changes for secure web proxies and enterprise VPNs while maintaining operational stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute project-driven changes for proxy and VPN gateways using standardized runbooks for policy updates, routing, and NAT.
• Build, test, and deploy proxy policies including URL filtering, SSL/TLS inspection, and traffic steering.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to align proxy and VPN designs with business requirements.
• Develop operational documentation and lightweight automation (shell/Python/Ansible) for configuration validation.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience with strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing/switching, VLANs, DNS, and load balancing.
• Hands-on experience with secure web proxy technologies (e.g., Broadcom/Blue Coat ProxySG) and PAC file implementation.
• Practical expertise in enterprise VPNs (site-to-site and remote access: IPsec, IKEv2, SSL VPN) including policy and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in scripting for operations using bash, shell, and/or Python.
• Ability to write simple Ansible playbooks and familiarity with vendor APIs.
• Experience using SIEM tools for investigation and incident triage.
• Comfortable with change management, including concise implementation/rollback plans and post-change validation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies for managing work backlogs and sprint planning.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
