Description

You will design and build core backend software components for large-scale infrastructure applications.

Responsibilities

• Design core backend software components and write code using C/C++, Java, PHP, or Hack.
• Lead major initiatives, projects, and phased-release rollouts.
• Conduct design and code reviews to improve system efficiency, scalability, and stability.
• Set technical direction and goals regarding project impact and engineering efficiency.
• Mentor new team members and facilitate their ramp-up on internal codebases.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional programming experience in C, C++, Java, or C#.
• 7+ years of experience building large-scale infrastructure applications.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality, high-reliability software.
• Experience improving system stability through testing, monitoring, and proactive changes.
• Ability to use data and analysis to diagnose technical problems and provide solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
• Experience with new product rollouts and technological innovation.
