Description

Manage and optimize virtual workstation environments, transitioning users from persistent to non-persistent VM setups.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain virtual workstation OS images using VMware Horizon and Rancher.
• Optimize images for user experience and manage profiles using DEM and FSLogix.
• Monitor infrastructure and user experience using Workspace ONE Intelligence, ControlUp, and Horizon Monitoring.
• Resolve infrastructure issues through automated processes and proactive monitoring.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• 3+ years developing and maintaining virtual workstation OS images.
• Expertise in App Volumes or virtual workstation OS image optimization.
• Experience with profile management using DEM and FSLogix.
• 5+ years supporting VMware ESXi on-premises environments.
• Proficiency with VMware Horizon and Rancher for image deployment.
• Experience monitoring VMware environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting HP server hardware.
• Experience supporting Dell VxRail.
