Description

You will manage and support large-scale, complex network infrastructure and Point of Presence (POP) deployments.

Responsibilities

• Execute regional space, power, and cabling requirements to support edge network needs.
• Design and plan electrical and mechanical critical infrastructure for Data Center sites.
• Create site floor plans and allocate space for network, optical, backbone, IP, and compute functions.
• Manage site acceptance processes for new POP sites and conduct site surveys.
• Direct tasks to vendors and suppliers while ensuring all documentation meets set standards.

Required Skills

• 7-8 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Outstanding proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoDesk tools, BIM 360, and Bluebeam.
• Deep knowledge of Telecom Central Offices, Data Centers, Collocations, and Remote Hut environments.
• Expertise in infrastructure architecture, including space lineup, airflow, and cooling.
• Technical knowledge of regional Data Center electrical/cooling configurations, IEC, and NEMA standards.
• Experience with AC/DC power and power redundancy scenarios.
• Understanding of optical network design, installation, and maintenance.
• Ability to travel 10% to 30% for site evaluations.

Preferred Skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Hands-on experience with power-related projects.
